The iconic gatehouse welcomes all guests to Rosemont and is the single entry and exit point for all tenants and their clients. The gatehouse intercom system has individual door bells to each individual office suite. Via a coloured monitor in each office suite, each tenant is able to see their clients at the gatehouse, speak with them and auto-release the front gate. The gatehouse is also monitored by the main CCTV system 24/7.
Impressive Main Entrance Hallway with Guest Waiting Area
The impressive main entrance hallway is the central hub of the complex providing the access to the executive boardroom, kitchenette, bathroom facilities, courtyard access and leads to all other hallways through the complex. There is also a waiting area for clients directly inside the main entrance. All security and heating & cooling systems are controlled from this central location.

The grand executive boardroom is the focal point of this unique complex. This 26 foot long period masterpiece was originally the main dining room of the original residence and still boasts many period features including large fire place mantle, ornate plaster ceiling, antique side boards, furniture and pipe organ. The boardroom also features all modern facilities including a large display monitor, LED lighting and remote control block-out blinds. The facility is accessible for all tenants to use, controlled by one central diary booking system.

A comprehensive infrared alarm system with 24 individual detectors protects the complex and is monitored 24/7 by CHUBB Security. All Tenants are issued with their own unique security system pass code, providing 24/7 building access for each tenant. This system also incorporates fire detection monitoring and an emergency duress activation system. In addition, a master key locking system provides individual security for each office suite while the same tenant’s key operates all external doors and communal areas.

An extensive closed circuit television system operates and records 24/7 and is remotely accessible. There is convenient access to local public transport with the Newmarket Train Station situated two blocks away, adjacent to the Flemington shopping strip. In addition, there are also tram stops at either end of Shields Street, in Racecourse Road and Mt. Alexander Road, with both tram lines directly accessing the CBD. Unlike most commercial leases, all outgoings are paid by the landlord, including: electricity, gas, heating & cooling, security monitoring & CCTV system, council rates, cleaning of all common areas, gardeners, general maintenance, etc. * The only exceptions are phone and internet which are the tenant’s responsibility. History of Rosemont
- 1906 to 1938 – Velani Family originally built the property who were the official caterers to the Flemington Racecourse. It was there family home with a business office. The property was originally named ‘Salerno’.
- 1938 to 1979 – Elizabeth & John Findlay purchased the property and it was renamed ‘Rosemont’. The family business was transport ‘on and off’ the shipping wharfs with horse lorries & then trucks with their horse stables in Kensington. It remained the family home until Elizabeth’s passing in 1979.
- 1980 to 1983 – McInerney Family, who lived across the road at No: 68, purchased the property as their family home.
- 1983 to 1994 – The Moonee Valley City Council purchased the property and it became the Flemington Community Health Centre along with the adjoining property at 20 Bryant Street.
- 1994 to Present – Glenn Findlay (grandson of Elizabeth & John Findlay) purchased the property and it became the head office of his company – Australian Bridal Service Pty Ltd and then later developed into the Rosemont Executive Offices.
